Job Description

The Business Analyst will interact with clients to obtain requirements for functional specifications in support of software development for the client. In performing this task, the Business Analyst will gather, analyze, validate and document the client’s requirements. The Business Analyst will develop logic flow diagrams and business process models and create functional specifications describing the business functions of the proposed software system to obtain the client's acknowledgment that the company understands the requirements. The Business Analyst must also create technical specification to enable the software developers to do their work.


During the development of the software product, the Business Analyst must stay on top of the project. This requires regular communication with the client and the developers to assure that the project stays on track and is conforming to the client's requirements.


Job Requirements

The Business Analyst is responsible for development of initial use case documentation and creating test plans. The Business Analyst will be responsible for leading the initial testing of the software to assure that the software meets to the client's expectations. Prior to delivery of the finished product, the Business Analyst will write the technical documentation and user manuals.


The ideal candidate will have an understanding of programming, must have excellent MS-Word and MS Excel skills. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
