The core responsibilities for the Tech Writer will be planning, organizing, writing and editing operational audit procedures and polices and technical manuals for the data center. Our clients ideal Technical Writer will be researching and documenting current practices and polices for technical specifications, system and user access and updates and or create them in accordance with new practices. The Tech Writer will work with engineers on a daily basis on these procedures to ensure that what is documented is correct or needs to up updated. Description

Web Production Support Application Developer in support of the business plan for the Consumer-Directed Healthcare initiative - a key growth area within T&SS Emerging Payment Channels and Trade. Support addition of feature functions and product enhancements to support customer service, client administration, and cardholder websites. The role will preferably be filled by an experienced software developer with excellent technical knowledge. The candidate must be able to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Act as technical lead, managing the work and providing guidance to junior developers.

Develop clear and logical work plans

Work with established technical specifications to develop and deliver defined functionality.

Read and understand business requirements, functional requirements, develop detailed technical designs, and build / unit / system test application code.

Support the changes/applications post implementation by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance releases as prescribed by management.

The candidate should be able to interact effectively with project managers, developers, tech leads, technical operations, etc.

Adherence to Development Life Cycle, PLC, IT controls and change control policies for all developments.

Advise and facilitate in planning and execution of QA and UAT testing

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Minimum 7 years experience as an application developer

Minimum 5 years professional web application development in Weblogic and Iplanet using J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, PL/SQL, SQL

Experience in development and deployment of J2EE compliant systems in BEA WebLogic.

Knowledge of XML and DTD formation

Experience in development in an Oracle database environment, SQL, query tuning

Proficiency in PL/SQL programming to develop stored procedures and database triggers

Single Sign-On experience a plus

SiteMinder experience a plus

Strong design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills

Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures

Demonstrated team-leadership skills.

Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Compensation: $80000 to $95000 per year

This 100 year old Not-For-Profit is seeking a Payroll Manager to manage its entire Payroll Department. This is a senior role in which you will be managing 4 other payroll staff. You will manage the daily operations of the Payroll Department, including the in-house processing and timely and accurate issuance of bi-weekly checks for approximately 3,200 employees, oversee preparation of all payroll-related schedules and/or reports requested by internal and external auditors, you will coordinate and work with Human Resources and fiscal managers to ensure timely and accurate payments to the employees, review practices, procedures, and policies of the department and revise as necessary to improve efficiency and/or workflow. You will also ensure accurate and timely payment of tax liabilities and filing of IRS Federal Forms 941 and W-2, while serving as the primary liaison between Payroll and the Information Technology Group in implementing payroll system changes, overseeing program coding changes and determining testing scenarios required to validate program modifications relating to the payroll module of the Human Resources Information System, ensure accuracy and timeliness of links to the general ledger, analyze outstanding checks to ensure the adherence to proper and timely reporting procedures to meet State Abandoned Property Regulations.

The Business Analyst will interact with clients to obtain requirements for functional specifications in support of software development for the client. In performing this task, the Business Analyst will gather, analyze, validate and document the client’s requirements. The Business Analyst will develop logic flow diagrams and business process models and create functional specifications describing the business functions of the proposed software system to obtain the client's acknowledgment that the company understands the requirements. The Business Analyst must also create technical specification to enable the software developers to do their work.


During the development of the software product, the Business Analyst must stay on top of the project. This requires regular communication with the client and the developers to assure that the project stays on track and is conforming to the client's requirements.


Job Requirements

The Business Analyst is responsible for development of initial use case documentation and creating test plans. The Business Analyst will be responsible for leading the initial testing of the software to assure that the software meets to the client's expectations. Prior to delivery of the finished product, the Business Analyst will write the technical documentation and user manuals.
